Born in Georgetown Guyana, Desmond O. Croker is a true Caribbean man. He completed a general nursing program at the Georgetown School of Nursing in 1997 and a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Guyana in 2004.
Desmond has worked as a registered nurse and registered educator in Georgetown Guyana, Montego Bay, Jamaica, Port of Spain, Trinidad and the Turks and Caicos.
He is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Annie’s Memorial Chronic Disease Education Centre. A foundation to help persons with chronic diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure understand how to manage their condition, established in memory of my mother Annie Agatha Croker who passed away in 2007 from complications of diabetes mellitus.
